I really like Dr. K, she's very caring and understands my symptoms. When they began getting worse, she gave me the option of trying a biologic. She employs shared decision-making, and I feel good about the path that I'm on. Thank you Dr. Kurakula.

I had previously been a patient of Dr. Reynolds, so when she retired, I decided to give Dr. Kurakula a chance.

What a mistake.

She spent less than 5 minutes with me, spoke over me, and didn’t listen to any of my concerns.

I had been a patient at that clinic for a good 10 years at that point, I believe. I felt very disregarded and ignored.

I tried to bring up concerns with my dx of AS, and possibility of hEDS. I was completely blown off. My fibro was ignored. I’m grateful to my cardiologist who listened to me and ordered genetic testing as I do in fact have hEDS. The front staff at the clinic is always wonderful, but I am exceptionally disappointed by the care I received by the clinical staff. I attempted to switch doctors as my sister loves her doctor there, but they do not allow that. I am now looking out of city and possibly out of state for care as the care given in Wichita is abysmal.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Went to go see her due to having fibromyalgia, she was not even with my for 3 minutes. She scanned through my paperwork, and told me to continue to take tylenol for pain and suggested vitamin D. She walked out, and I had to go ask a nurse if I was dismissed since she didn’t say anything on the way out. I’m super disappointed, have never met a more horrible doctor! Do NOT recommended!!!!!

Dr. Kuralula was very kind and patiently listened to all my concerns. She was the 3rd rheumatologist I have seen and the 1st doctor that did not immediately write off my symptoms as non-rheumatological. Whether or not she can help me I was very happy with her services.

Went to see her in late November due to a postive ana test, joint and muscle pain, and losing a lot of weight. Autoimmune diseases run in my family. Instead of breaking down the ana, she just told me to take tylenol arthritis and brought out pamphlets for managing pain. I trusted my gut and went to another doctor and he did the right blood tests and found out I have sjogrens/lupus. This doctor could have ruined my health if I listened to her!!

I felt like she listened well, will only treat with major drugs when needed, gave me the missing link to my autoimmune disease.

Love Dr. Karakula. She really understands your frustration with auto immune. And she takes time to listen

The centralized check-in was totally ridiculous. 20 minutes was way to long for an existing patient!!
