great decision choosing Dr. Bunting in 2020 after my former ENT retired.
I have had 2 surgeries performed by Dr. Bunting & they've both gone smoothly. he's a very knowledgeable ENT & has been very helpful in helping get prior authorizations for a new medication. his bedside manner is very calm & comforting. in office & pre op he listens well to patient concerns & has never missed any of my accommodation requests. 10/10

After a horrible wreck, I am a bad patient. But this Dr. handled me most amazingly. He fixed my nose issues. I haven't had a good breath in the years since my accident. Now, I'm breathing!! I have more energy, and just have an overwhelming sense of well being. Recovery was a piece of cake. I'd do this surgery every other month if I had to. Thank God for blessing this man's abilities. I also have to mention his wonderful staff ?

One year ago tomorrow June 21,2023 changed our lifes, (Jakes) forever. He had planned on a simple surgery to remove a small nodule under his left ear.
Everything seemed to go as planned, even when Dr. E B came out of surgery to tell me they had gotten it all, and I could go back and see him. He never mentioned anything about his paralysis. I found out when I went back into recovery to see the nurses hovering over him, and found out that they were putting drops in his left eye because he couldn't close it. I asked how long it would be like this and they said 4 to 6 weeks. We went to get the stitches out 2 weeks later and Dr. E B wouldn't see us, but his PA said it would probably be close to 6 weeks. We went back to see Dr. E B, 6 weeks later for a follow up appointment. I asked him several questions, he was very defensive and said it could take 6 months to a year for his paralysis to go away. I asked about his pathology report, he couldn't find it. He later called and told us that cancer was detected, but he was certain that he got it all. But recommended we see a specialist, we did but we decided against any cancer treatments and so began a year of seeing specialist and Dr appointments and another surgery. Not once did Dr E B call or have us come back for another check up. Nor did he mention that Jake could loose his eyesight. I continued to put drops in his eye and made an appointment with our eye Dr. Who sent us to a specialist at Green vision. (Who was excellent). At that time he recommended he sew Jakes eye shut because he could not close it and would loose his eyesight. We waited 3 months to see if the paralysis went away, it did not. So he recommended that Jake have a Gold weight placed in his eyelid to help him close it, and he sewed the corners up so his eye wouldn't droop. If his eyebrow continues to droop and cause him problems then the insurance will pay for plastic surgery to correct the problem.
During this time Jake saw a nerve specialist that didn't really have much good news. Only 20% nerve function in his forehead and none in the cheek area.
We know that God can work miracles and we have asked for one. But in the meantime we are walking through this storm holding his hand.
I'm a little bitter about how Dr E B handled this situation and would not recommend him to anyone.
Dr E B knew he did something wrong and never once acknowledged it.

Dr. Bunting is an absolutely amazing physician! I called his office and he met me on an early morning to remove a splat ball from my sons ear! He was so professional and caring! My son felt at ease the entire time. Thank you Dr. Bunting for your compassionate care for my son!

The staff was super nice and polite, and the building is super clean and hygienic. Now, the doctor and nurse went above and beyond, and I got the best explanation for my symptoms I have ever heard, I left feeling super satisfied with their service and impressed with how knowledgeable they were.

He is honestly the best ENT you could ever ask for. He did surgery on my husband and our daughter this year. He truly cares. We took our son into him on an issue and he said surgery wasn't necessary. He doesn't do surgery unless it is REALLY necessary.

Dr. Bunting is an excellent surgeon! He has performed a total of 3 T-tube ear placements in hospital, and the surgical removal of our child's Adenoids (all between ages 7- 26 mos. old).

I only wish Dr. Bunting had a better disposition when it came to his lack of bedside manner. He usually seems very distracted and rushed. I've only spoken to Dr. Bunting in one brief initial consultation, and before every Surgery. His P.A.'s, 'Mark Manning' and 'Tanile' have always seen us Post-op, and for any follow-up appts. Both P.A.'s are very caring (unlike Dr. Bunting's disconnected attitude), I highly recommend them! Mark Manning is quick during the visits, but is quirky and funny. Tanile takes a more thorough approach, and is a little less talkative. Both providers are great with children!

In the past 2.5 years we've attended dozens of appts. at Mid-Kansas ENT, both at East & West locations. They're a super-busy facility, so scheduling can be a nightmare. I've waited on hold for over 20 min. just to make an appt. Once you're checked-in for your appt. you see your Doctor quickly. So, make sure to arrive to the office On Time.

Overall I feel they do a pretty good job! Their front office staff at the East location (N. Webb Rd.) can come off as pretty rude most days. The West side (Ridge Rd.) local, I absolutely love Tanile's nurse, she's so friendly and upbeat.
